Career Coach/Case Manager (Alhambra area) Conduct intake, intensive case management services. Conduct WIOA orientation with participants. Develop and conduct participant assessment. Assist participants in identifying and prioritizing training and career goals. Conduct follow-up activities and update IEP’s. Provide job placement and job readiness, career counseling and follow-up services for job seeker participants. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, or closely related field. Experience offering specific and substantial preparation of the duties of the position may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, employment, training or education fields. Understanding of the WIOA, particularly program mandates and performance outcome requirements. Computer experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and e-mail. Ability to identify and create job opportunities, including OJT training sites with local businesses. Ability to work with “hard-to-serve” adults and youth who possess one or more barriers to employment.
