JDC Construction, LLC is a licensed and locally owned. Our home office is located in Omaha NE, which allows us to service top contractors, developers and home owners in several communities including Omaha, Elkhorn, Gretna, Papillion, Bennington and Lincoln. We are proud to say since 2015 we have partnered with solid home contractors and have helped completed over 650 new homes. We are looking to expand and are in immediate need of a foreman and laborers.

No experience, but have a great work ethic? Great! We are willing to train the right candidates. If you grew up swinging a hammer, are interested in growing your career into Foreman, and or managing supervisor level, know how to read a tape measure, and have basic construction skills. We might be a match for you. The individuals we are looking for must be highly motivated, care deeply about the work they do, have the ability to think on their feet, and do High Quality work efficiently.

This job requires the ability to use power tools, climb ladders, remove/replace siding, and general customer service. Must be able to pass a back ground check, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Construction experience is preferred. There is travel involved with this title. Typical start time is 7:30 AM and ends when the job is finished.

SIGNING BONUS! Any employee who remains with our company for more than 3 months receives a $300.00 bonus.

Job details:

Salary-$30,000 - $50,000 a year Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour. Based on experience, performance and the tools you own.

Location- Omaha, NE 68164

Job Type-Full-time, overtime and weekends during peak season. Typical work day 7:30AM-8PM.

Qualifications-Must have a valid driver's license and reliable car. Must be able to pass physical test after offered position. Cannot be afraid of heights.

Experience- Construction- 1 year (Preferred), Skilled Labor- 1 year (Preferred) and not afraid of heights

Job Requirements- Lifting, Climbing, Bending and excellent balance and eye hand coordination. Experience in Operating heavy equipment and Safe operation of hand of power tools, to include (but not limited to) temporary generators, ladders, table saws, routers, nail guns, drills, hammer and trench rammers. Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout and fill joints and cracks with caulking compound. Working diligently to maintain a safe work environment. Erecting and disassembly of scaffolding. Assists with demolition and debris disposal. Familiarity in reading blueprints. Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods. Able to work in a team.

Primary Tasks- Fit and fasten siding material to laths or framing studs using measuring device (tape measure, transit or laser level),hammer, nail gun, or adhesives. Cut and trim material to size and shape to fit using shears (powered or hand-operated), saw (powered or hand operated) or utility knife.

Work Environment(s) May Include- Elevated work areas, Dirt/fumes, Extreme temperatures, Inclement weather and Loud/noisy.
