Seeking:  Assistant Manager FOH

The requirements are:

2 to 5 years serving experience, lead captain/server or management experience a plus.

Excellent leadership, listening & communication skills.

Knowledge of general restaurant practices, procedures and concepts

Strong knowledge of current craft beer, wine and cocktail trends

Ability to drive and develop current beverage program.

Exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to remain focused and professional in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and capable of simultaneously managing multiple tasks. Be able to work in fast paced environment and provide exceptional service to the guests.

This position will combine both serving shifts and is an ideal position for an experienced server/bartender looking to make the transition into management.

You will work closely with the General Manager FOH to lead the entire team and manage all aspects of the FOH operations of the restaurant. You will continue to build the restaurant's culture, leading by example and constantly improving our service with a strong focus on our guests' enjoyment.

 

Education:

Knowledge of NYC DOH restaurant standards and requirements

NYC food protection Certification

Ideally able to communicate in English and Spanish (especially important)

Responsibilities of the position:

Oversee weekly employee schedule and their duties.

Provide continuous food & beverage training, tasting and education.

Ensure that established policies and standards are followed and maintained.

Build relationships with the restaurant guests and ensure customer satisfaction by prompt resolution of any problems efficiently and effectively.

Provide leadership and direction to employees to maximize efficiency and maintain high service standards.

Report back to management team

Contribute input toward restaurant improvement.
